Sensorial vanilla & biodiversity tour for families

Le cadre est très agréable car c'est une ferme avec de nombreux arbres, plantes différentes qui s'apportent l'un l'autre et qui attire de nombreux insectes pour faire le travail à la place des pesticides. Il y a aussi une petite plantation de vanille au cœur de la ferme et c'est assez incroyable.
Pascal est très sympathique et accueillant. Il nous expliqué pleins de choses sur la ferme
, la polyculture, etc...

Even if... read more you've heard something about vanilla growing before, it's better to see it once than hear a thousand times. And you'll be able to smell real vanilla and feel the difference with vanilla substitutes we are used to.
Pascal is passionate about what he is doing and happy to share it with guests. Highly recommended.
Parking can be full so be sure to come about 20-30 minute in advance to have enough time to park and walk to the Finca.

This was a far place from where we stayed and a difficult curvy cliff drive to find the location.
Thankful to my host to warn me about my commute time as I would have surely underestimated it- as google maps did.
I went with a tween and she was bored as we have visited many farms in many spaces over the years and she chose this activity bc she was interested in the vanilla piece and that was at the end.
I thought it was a lovely tour to a part of the island I would not have experienced otherwise.
