EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATION
We care for life, foster environmental awareness and sow the seeds of creativity in the countryside

La Canopea Educational Association, active since 2016
At the La Canopea Association, we have borrowed the metaphor of the ‘canopy’, which refers to the uppermost layer of a mature forest, where the trees reach their full splendour, intertwine and form a vibrant ecosystem.
We use this metaphor to define our mission: to plant and nurture a forest that will grow tall and strong, with all its components – an ecosystem that connects people and inspires change in rural areas.

¡Sé un árbol! , an inspiring book written by Maria Gianferrari and illustrated by Felicita Sala.

Intergenerational project and activities for the over-65s

Intergenerational project and activities for the over-65s
Colours and Flavours is an intergenerational social permaculture project that brings generations together, creating a space where older people, children and young people can meet, have fun and support one another. Through artistic and creative activities, and by being in close contact with nature, the project encourages active participation and emotional wellbeing. All this takes place in a rural setting that helps to strengthen bonds, prevent loneliness and promote healthy habits! It is a place where different generations learn and enjoy themselves together.
