Dive with your children into our world of biodiversity, in search of our treasure, vanilla !
A journey in our garden
Come and discover vanilla, that delicious and rare spice, which grows among other edible plants and trees in our finca. Our small vanilla plantation is unique in Europe! You’ll have the chance to see how we’ve managed to transform a desert into a rich, verdant ecosystem in which vanilla flourishes.
We propose you a hands-on lesson in biodiversity for children, so they can really understand the reforestation work we’re doing and experience our tropical environment first-hand. You’ll have the chance to smell and taste our vanilla, and you’ll go home with a lovely souvenir that you’ve made yourself.
This is an activity specially designed for families: a little explanation but not too much, some sensory activities, hands-on experiments, a creative workshop, tasting and fun in our natural play area.
Learning by doing
Do you want to spend a nice, creative and interesting time with your family? Would you like to discover more about local nature and biodiversity, but can’t imagine going to a museum with your children? This experience is made for you! At Finca la Canopea we are convinced that children have to connect directly with the natural environment. We are glad to offer them the possibility to explore the world in an active way. Let’s have a great time, have fun and experiment to learn new things togheter!
Visit available every Wednesday and Friday at 11 am in English, French and Spanish.

Information and booking
The visit lasts aproximately 2 hours. The price is 18€ per person (same price for children and adults). The minimum number of participants is 4, the maximum 10. The content of the tour is suitable for people aged 4 to 12, and accompanied by their parents.
The activity includes :
* a tour in the finca with sensory activities and hands-on experiments
* a creative workshop to create your souvenir
* a tasting of a product made with our vanilla
* a time for free play in our natural playground
