So we are happy to host people who want to enjoy our natural environment and support our project!
Casita La Palmera is your holiday house in green natural surroundings, perfect to enjoy beautiful landscapes and hikes on the sunny island of Tenerife .
Ideally situated, Casita la Palmera is located in a quiete street, at the foot of Teno Rural Park, at the begining of Cuevas Negras hiking path and only 5 minutes from the village of Los Silos where you can find several bars, shops, restaurants, a post office, the health centrum and other useful amenities.
Casita La Palmera, your holiday house in Tenerife, is an old house refurbished with a personal style. Including two bedrooms, a fitted kitchen-dining room, a living room, a bathroom, a little terrace, and an access to a piece of garden. We can accommodate four people and add a fifth bed for a child. The minimum stay is three days.
Casita La Palmera is the perfect place for a quiet stay close to the nature!
Thank you Bene and Pascal and family for a very relaxing stay at your casita. We enjoyed the nature and beautiful hiking trails, the friendliness of the town and the atmosphere of your place very much. Hope we can come back one day!
With our 1,5 year old son we really enjoyed hanging around in the garden and playground which is perfect for kids (and their parents!) Too bad we have to go home tomorrow because we would have enjoyed staying here for some days more. Thank you Bene and Pascal and good luck with the finca and all your trees!

Things to do and see in the surrounding area
We suggest to stay between 3 and 7 days… 3 being the minimum to start to explore the surrounding, 7 days a reasonable time to discover at ease all the richnesses of the region and extend the exploration of the Northen coast easily accessible from Los Silos. For the ones who really enjoy to take it easy, even a two weeks stay isn’t too much.
The village of Los Silos is a strategical position to explore the West part of Tenerife. From Casita la Palmera you can walk to the Monte de Agua, the mountains facing the village. In a few minutes walk you reach the green heart of the peaceful mountain were you only hear the birds and the wind. The near coast offers nice possibilities to enjoy a bath according to the season ; natural pools for a relax bath, though waves for a bodysurf experience, black sandy beaches, when the sea is quieter, for a sunbath. Garachico, the very close historical town, is worth a visit. And the little hamlets of Teno rural park, such as Masca, Teno Alto or Los Carrizales, are just a few kilometres from here.
Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.

Los Silos, the secret of Tenerife
Los Silos is a village of 4000 inhabitants with a lot of energy. It is located on the north coast of the island of Tenerife, a wonderful region that was left out of the invasion of mass tourism. Los Silos has a lot to offer; a street market every Sunday, festivals, carnivals, traditional celebrations… many possibilities to enjoy an enriching stay and to get to know the local culture.
Los Silos village situated at the foot of Teno massif hides a valuable and interesting natural richness in fauna as in flora. The lush laurisilva forest contrasts with the coastal arid land which still host areas of different kinds of spurges. Steep gorges make the link between the high lands and the wide coast.
